Creative Director Tracey, has worked within the floral industry for over 25 years. Working with a host of inspirational floral teams in both freelance, events and retail.
Learning from many national and international floral designers to explore different cultures and styles of floral design. Her experience and passion for the floral industry has given her the opportunity to tutor in further education for the past 16 years, inspiring the next generation of floral designers to achieve their potential. Working in a local landbased college enables Tracey to shape how the industry evolves and keeps up with trends, supporting with national competitions and working on highly reguarded qualifcation course stuctures.
A Qualified British Master in professional floristry, teaching and education is the heart of her experience and creativity. Working on the London Olympics was a particular accolade to her career, creating the famous victory bouquets for the games winners was a real honor.
Tracey’s favourite flower, too many to choose from, cymbidium orchids and anything a little bit different!
Senior florist Carly, is no stranger to the industry! Working in many high street flower shops over the past 30 years. Her enthusiasm for all things floral started when she took a Saturday job at a local flower shop. From there she trained for several years gaining prestigious floral qualifications and working in many reputable flower shops and studios.
Highlights of Carly’s career have been creating presentation posies for visiting Royalty together with bespoke bouquets for many celebrities. She’s also been known to carry out floristry judging at college and hold floral demonstrations for the local community.
Carly’s favourite flowers include peonies and the love of meadow flowers; how flowers start so tiny and explode into the most exquisite blooms!
Heather has been in and around the floral industry for over 25 years. Qualifying as a professional florist after working in several other careers. She worked in several local flowers shops, until owning her own successful business, Heathers flowers, for over 16 years in Castle Cary.
Heather loves flowers and plants which are a little different and has a keen passion for modern design and Ikebana style floristry. If asked Heathers favorite part of floristry will always be sympathy design, ‘it’s the most important work that we do, to ensure that families are supported and have beautiful flowers to say good bye to loved ones’
Heather is at her happiest when sharing a snippet of floriculture knowledge or chatting with the local customers!
Roxy! Our team is completed by Roxy our florist cocker spaniel – she’s lively and bouncy but loves nothing more than a friendly pat!
She doesn’t do much else but is just happy being around us and flowers!
